As you might expect, there are a few cricket references in there. You should be able to solve almost all of it without knowing what they’re about, but a few clues might stump you (pun intended) on either the definition or wordplay if you’re not a cricket fan. Hopefully the crossing letters and other half of the clue will still get you there in each case though.
